Via Washington Project, Milan

We are currently refurbishing a 1 Bedroom Apartment in Milan. It has been in use as a dentist's studio for the past 20 years so there is alot of demolition and re build to be done. Windows and damaged frames have to be replaced etc. Demolition started yesterday and we have also since met up with the kitchen joiner who is keen on precision and quality (ahh!)
Here are some photographs of the building block (the apartment is on the 1st floor), the main entrance and lobby and then photographs of some of the internal rooms of the apartment. The apartment has some features that are def worth maintaining - the full length double door windows with shutters, framed internal solid timber double doors. Unfortunately, the timber floor boards need to be replaced - but we are replacing them with the same pattern but with tiles. This way, the floor will be consistent throughout every room (including wet room.)
The building backs onto a grassy courtyard so that there is a lot of nice afternoon sun coming into the place.
